US Rider Opportunity
USRIDER Equestiran Motor Plan promotion coming
soon
Darla Bonem has done some research on this vehicle
plan for equestrians, and is in the process of providing a way
for M.B.H.A., as well as it’s members, to benefit by dedicating
a specific month for sign-ups. Below is a description of the
plan, a sort of “AAA” for horse trailers, as well
as their idea for a fundraiser for M.B.H.A. Anyone interested
in this plan should sign up during the month that M.B.H.A. is
sponsoring it, so that we can receive the benefits below. We
will be getting more information on the plan as we get closer
to fall, but if you’d like to submit your name to Darla
so she can get a preliminary count on who may be interested,
you can email her at josabo@aol.com,
or contact any board member.
USRider Equestrian Motor
Plan is a nationwide roadside assistance plan created
especially for equestrians. It includes typical motor plan features
such as flat-tire repair, battery assistance and lock-out services,
plus towing up to 100 miles and roadside repairs for tow vehicles
and trailers with horses, emergency stabling, veterinary, farrier
referrals and more. USRider covers
its members in any vehicle they are traveling in – even
if they are not driving. For more information, call toll-free
(800) 844-1409 or visit www.usrider.org.
(the website has a full FAQ if you have more questions).
USRider would
like to suggest that M.B.H.A. promote a program to its members
in September or October 2007. The advantages of a special promotion
is that each member of M.B.H.A. who joins USRider
during the designated month would receive a 55-piece
first-aid kit and for each M.B.H.A.
member who joins USRider
your organization would receive a
$10 donation.
