ACTHA Ride
ACTHA is the American Competetive Trail Horse Association, a group that hold trail rides with various obstacle tests along the way. They are a national organizion, with events all over the country. Penny Dees will be looking into organizing an ACTHA Trail Ride Event for the MBHA this year!

MBHA Helmets are Missing
As all members know, riders under 18 years old are required to wear helmets at MBHA event. In the past, the MBHA has been able to provide a limited number of helmets for those who do not have them. Unfortunately, our tub of helmets seems to have gone missing. With all the transfering of equipment from the container at YMIA, we are hoping it is simply misplaced. If anyone knows where the helmets ended up, please contact any board member. In the meantime, please be advised that riders are expected to bring their own helmets. If you don't have one, they are available to purchase at some of our sponsors' shops here in town.

Due to the issues we faced in 2011, everyone who paid for membership in 2011will received a 2012 membership FREE OF CHARGE! Membership forms available here: Membership Form. Please FILL OUT A FORM FOR THE 2012 YEAR. Even if you are a returning member and owe no dues, we need a current form on file. We are building our list of paid 2012 members based on the forms we receive, so get yours in to us right away.
