Horse Show Clinic Day, 9/8/07

Joe Lyneis, carded Equestrian Horse Show Judge (NFQHA, ETI, Open, POA, Buckskin), came to the M.B.H.A. arena to show riders what it is that a judge is really looking for! Joe held mock classes in Halter, Showmanship, Trail, and Reining; demonstarting in detail what a rider should be doing, what a judge will look for, and how to best present yourself in a class. Every detail, from training to show clothes, was covered for each class. Participants got one-on-one instruction as they maneuvered through the details many are not aware of; but which can make or break a class for you.

Time contstraints made the planned Western Riding and English/Western Pleasure and Equitation classes not possible - we hope to have Joe come back and show us those another time.
