Clinic Day, 4/28/07

The M.B.H.A. is fortunate enough to have members with advanced skills that they are willing to share! Clinic Day saw three clinics from local riders and M.B.H.A. members - though each clinic had its own focus, the common thread was control of all parts of the horse to get a better performance.

Our clinics were: Trail Trials with Penny Dees, Barrel Racing with Paula Heil, and Lateral Movements with Cindy Lapp. Thank you to our clinicians!

A note from Paula Heil:

I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in the clinic on 4/28/07. It seemed everyone had a great time as well as picked up some great information. I enjoyed everyone and appreciated the time that was taken by each of you to be there. It looks like my schedule has changed for the summer and I will be in the area the last half of May through July. If anyone is interested in expounding on the barrel racing clinic I would be happy to schedule some time for it. We just scratched the surface at the clinic; there is so much more, that will only make you and your horse a better team when competing. If you are interested please come to the meeting the end of this month so we can visit about it. Remember ride safe, smart and God Bless and May the Good Lord always be your pick up man!
